The jazz rhythms of the harp and double bass duo Alara Tütüncü and Özgün Bora will echo in the magical atmosphere of MSGSU Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center. Alara Tütüncü emphasizes the harp as a solo instrument in today’s jazz music, despite its limited presence in the genre, inspired by the spiritual world of Alice Coltrane and the technique of Dorothy Ashby. Özgün Bora, who is drawn to the deep and intense sound of the double bass, continues to work inspired by Ray Brown’s sense of groove and Joe Pass’ solitude.
