Fashion designer and photography collector Oya Başkaya and editor Barış Çakmakçı return to the years 1923-1945, under the moderation of curator Melis Bektaş. Running parallel with the We Ran Into Each Other exhibition, the talk will focus on the transformation of women in the social sphere, giving voice to the stories of women in Beyoğlu with visual references from their personal archives. The stories range from a family album to the pages of a magazine, from sewing courses to the details of a dress, from the photography studios of the period to the colorful social life of women.
