Beyza Bayrak, Rana N. İncesoy and Elifnaz Öngören found their creative streak in photography and fanzine culture. Their workshop is designed to introduce participants to fanzines and experience the process of developing printed material. The four-hour session will feature an introduction to fanzine culture with examples, a discussion on ways of including participants’ visual and written content in their productions and trying out different materials to explore ways of expression. Various binding methods (such as stapling, sewing, and folding) will be examined, and each participant will design their own fanzine.
