Directed by Thomas Jackson, this documentary offers a poetic and striking portrait of Sámi artist Britta Marakatt-Labba and the extraordinary embroidery practice to which she has devoted her life. Through her work, Marakatt-Labba weaves the ancient history, mythology, and everyday life of Sámi culture into fabric, creating a visual bridge between past and present.
The screening will be followed by a talk with the film’s cinematographer, Jonas Rudström.
The film screening has limited capacity and registration is required.
