Kucuk Mustafa Pasa Hammam
Visiting Hours: 11:00 - 20:00
Set within the historic fabric of Balat, the Kucuk Mustafa Pasa Hammam was built in the late 15th century and has survived as one of the best-preserved examples of classical Ottoman bath architecture. Designed as a double hammam, it features domed hot rooms, porous stone walls, and finely detailed marble work. For centuries, it stood at the heart of neighbourhood life and has now been reimagined as a cultural meeting point.
Following its restoration, the venue began hosting contemporary art exhibitions, performances, and events, merging its historic atmosphere with current artistic practices. Tucked within the narrow streets of Balat, it offers a distinctive space where traces of the past intertwine with the creative energy of the present.
