Presenting a selection from the Bülent Eczacıbaşı Foundation Photography Research Center (BEVFAM) Archive, “Eye Contact” explores the invisible bond between photographer, subject, and viewer through the portrait. Bringing together works from different collections, the exhibition focuses on how a gaze directed toward the camera can become an encounter, and even a dialogue extending from the past to today’s viewer.
