Tuba Geçgel and Elif Yücel's joint exhibition Lumina presents the multiplying brilliances of light within the historical fabric of Ceneviz Sanat. The exhibition title, meaning "lights" in Latin, emphasises the dialogue both artists establish with light. Geçgel's jewel-like flower sculpture unfolds petal by petal, reflecting light in different directions from each surface. Yücel's stained glass panels fracture light, creating hundreds of coloured brilliances throughout the space.

This encounter, achieving unexpected harmony amongst the Gothic architecture's stone walls, makes visible the "lumina" that multiply from a single light source and weave through the space. Visitors simultaneously experience the lights of past and present within the enchanting atmosphere created by contemporary art in this historical venue.
