Led by artists and academics Elçin Acun and Mert Çağıl Türkay, this workshop explores cyanotype, an alternative photographic printing process, through both theory and hands-on practice. Developed in the 19th century, the technique uses sunlight and light-sensitive chemical solutions to create distinctive blue-toned images on a variety of surfaces. During the workshop, participants will experiment with their chosen materials, objects, and handmade negatives on different surfaces, gaining first-hand experience of the process.
